Accommodation & Dinner OnlyDay 2: Sham Valley Excursion • After breakfast, start your Sham Valley sightseeing tour. • Visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, a sacred Sikh shrine associated with Guru Nanak Dev Ji. • Stop at Magnetic Hill, a unique natural phenomenon where vehicles appear to roll uphill. • Visit Nimmu Sangam, the beautiful confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Optional adventure activities at Nimmu Sangam like river rafting and bungee jumping (at your own cost). • While returning towards Leh, visit Spituk Monastery, located atop a hill overlooking the Indus River. • Visit Ladakh Hall of Fame, showcasing Ladakh’s culture and the bravery of Indian soldiers (closed on Mondays). • In the afternoon, visit Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh town and surrounding mountains. • Visit Leh Palace, a historic royal palace with insights into Ladakhi architecture and heritage. • Cab will drop you at your hotel. • Spend the evening at leisure exploring Leh Market.
Accommodation & Dinner OnlyDay 3: Leh to Nubra Valley (125 km) • After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Nubra Valley. • Visit Khardung La Pass (Altitude: 18,380 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. • Spend only 10–15 minutes at the pass to avoid altitude sickness. • Descend towards Nubra Valley via Khardung – Khalsar villages. • Visit Diskit Monastery, a 100+ year-old gompa located on a hilltop. See the massive Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking Nubra Valley. • In the evening, visit Hunder Sand Dunes, famous for their white sand landscape. Enjoy a double-humped Bactrian camel ride (optional, at extra cost). • Check in to your camp/hotel in Nubra Valley for overnight stay.
Accommodation & Dinner OnlyDay 4: Nubra to Turtuk Excursion (85+85 km) • After breakfast, start for Turtuk and Thang excursion tour. • Visit Turtuk Village, the last major village before the India–PoK border, opened to tourists in 2010. • Visit Turtuk Viewpoint, Balti Heritage Museum and apricot orchards (seasonal). • Head to Thang Village, also known as the Last Village of India on the LOC. • Enjoy views towards Pakistan-occupied territory (POK) and learn about the region’s history from locals. • Have lunch in the village. • Start the return journey to Nubra Valley for overnight stay.
Accommodation & Dinner OnlyDay 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (170 km) • After breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Pangong Lake via Shyok route. • Stop at Tangtse Village for refreshments or lunch break. • Visit the Birdwatching Viewpoint (after Tangtse, before Pangong). • Arrive at Pangong Lake (14,270 ft | approx. 100 km long, 25% in India). • Visit viewpoints near Spangmik and enjoy a lakeside walk at the famous 3 Idiots shooting point. • Check in to your camp / homestay for overnight stay.
